Where Did the Sneeze Go? and Who Caught the Yawn? form a two-in-one book for preschoolers and early readers, most suitable for ages three to seven.

I wrote these two stories around10 years ago, but the search for the right illustrator delayed publication. Now, I'm excited to release these as a two-in-one flip book for youngsters in collaboration with the talented Todd Sharp, artist and illustrator.

Both stories revolve around Max, a poster-child for 'ginger' children. Being 'part-Ranga' myself, Max is dear to my heart!




In Where Did the Sneeze Go?, Max spends a week trying to sneeze after all manner of irritations, beginning with a visit to the park with Dad on Saturday.






In Who Caught the Yawn?, Max goes about his day passing his yawn to everyone around him during his daily routine, beginning with Mum at breakfast time.





Youngsters will identify with Max's life - visits to the doctor, preschool, and Aunt Suzy, helping Grandpa in his workshop, playing at the park, and where they can't identify, this gives parents and teachers the opportunity for discussion about how we all live different lives and don't all do the same things, or with the same people, or in the same manner.

The early reader will enjoy and be assisted by the repetitive use of certain phrases, which will help them learn and develop the predictive skills needed for smooth reading.
